Every year many pets are lost and without proper identification, may never be reunited with their owners. Microchipping is a permanent
way to identify your pet. This small passive chip, about the size of a grain of rice, is applied under the skin. The chip is then registered in a national database. When a pet is found, a microchip scanner is used to identify the chip number. The national database can be contacted and then you and your pet can be reunited. Avon Lake Animal Clinic uses Home Again as our microchip provider.
