Digital Radiology
Digital radiology is a safer and more efficient alternative to traditional radiology. These radiographs
produce superior image quality and can be manipulated through software programs to limit repeat radiographs, reducing radiation exposure. If warranted, digital radiographs can be sent via telemedicine for a veterinary specialist in radiology to review. As a diagnostic tool, digital x-rays are essential in identifying many medical conditions.

Ultrasound with Doppler
Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool utilizing sound waves to create an image. The two most common
areas to image with ultrasound are the abdomen and heart (echocardiogram), although other areas can be evaluated. Detailed information can be obtained about specific organs and is often combined with digital radiology to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Our ultrasound machine is state-of-the-art, has color flow Doppler (evaluation of blood flow), produces excellent image quality, and has the ability to transfer images via telemedicine for review by veterinary specialists in radiology and cardiology. Although the technology is advanced, the true diagnostic benefit is in the interpretation of the images.

Computed Tomography (CT)
CT scans are pictures taken by a specialized x-ray machine. The machine circles the body and scans an
