Dr. Shuttleworth grew up in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania where she grew up with multiple companion animals. Her passion for animals was apparent at a young age but her interest in Veterinary Medicine did not grow until she took her first anatomy class in high school. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include soft tissue medicine, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr. Shuttleworth is an active member of American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, and American Animal Hospital Association.

Dr. Shuttleworth resides in Ohio City, Cleveland with her dog, Stella. When she is not in the office at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, she enjoys visiting with friends, hiking, kayaking, yoga, and traveling.
