Dr. Carmen Petti

- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine - Colorado State University, 2007.
- Memberships - American Veterinary Medical Association, Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Equine Practitioners.
- Special Interests - Soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, oncology, and internal medicine.
- Other - Worked in orthopedic research at Colorado State University, while in veterinary school, emphasizing on juvenile bone cancer and limb spare procedures.
- Personal - Dr. Petti grew up in Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Euclid High School in 1989. She attended The Ohio State University and Northern Arizona University for her undergraduate course work with degrees in Biology and Environmental Sciences. Dr. Petti spent three years working on the Native American reservations throughout Arizona and New Mexico, working as a clinic manager and the lead technician of a mobile spay/neuter clinic. She helped provide veterinary care to pets in desperate need of medical intervention. Prior to this she spent two years working at Zion National Park monitoring the newly introduced bighorn sheep population as well as the endangered spotted owl. Dr. Petti lived out west for 15 years before returning to Ohio. She has two wonderful boys, Basil and Julian. Dr. Petti enjoys skiing in the Rocky Mountains, hiking, swimming, running, reading, cooking, and gardening in her spare time. She also greatly enjoys the company of her dogs, Argo and Aspen, as well as her two wonderful, but emotionally-complicated, cats, Mona and Mary.
