Dr. Schofield grew up in Avon Lake with her twin brother and guinea pig, Squeaker, and has been part of our clinic family since she was 15. When she was in high school, she worked in the clinic’s boarding facility before going away to college. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Findlay, where she also spent her free time working various pet care positions and shadowing local veterinarians. After graduating, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine to study veterinary medicine and later completed a clinical program at Purdue University.
When she’s not caring for pets at Avon Lake Animal Clinic, Dr. Schofield cares for her domestic short-haired cat, Lucy. She adopted Lucy years ago, while she was in college. She also enjoys spending time outdoors, grilling out with her family, and taking her parents’ dogs for walks in the park in her free time.
